Consolidating IM contact lists
My IM group called "Ex-$employer" just grew 10x today.

None of the people that I know were affected. I guess that goes to say something about the quality of our hiring since the time Yahoo! Bangalore started seeing a big spurt in people's strength.

One fundamental thing I see wrong with our hiring process is that since there are multiple open reqs in various teams and since Recruiting team has to meet a 'goal' for each team, they end up reusing resumes which were rejected by some other team.

funny how these "expectations" are different for different people and have changed over time.. besides I learn new words every day 2 of which I learnt just yesterday: re-alignment and re-deployment,
